I always have loads of spots on my back/shoulders, but after i had a beach holiday it was pretty much all gone some how? So i recommed salt water, sun, sand and tanning, whichever one of those did it! Maybe the salt water cleaned my skin and the sun and sand dried my skin.

Hey fellas. I used to have horrible acne and have some scars. I'm 25 and still get some here and there, it used to be a lot FUCKIN worse. Spending time in the sauna and drinking lots of water to (flush out) oils works well. I use Proactive still but the sauna and exercise is great. This guy is right about diet. Fast foods and greasy food add to acne. Eating right, lots of water to flush out the body is smart.

I suffered from acne since I was 13 and tried EVERYTHING, no creams or diets worked. Now, at 51 I've found out that it was HORMONE problem. My gynecologyst prescribed ONLY 10 pills, (one a day) and now I can eat ANYTHING, and my skin is as beautiful as when I was 10. Of course diet is important too, we are what we eat but acne can be caused by many factors, not just diet. By the way, I'm a woman.

I have hormonal acne. Anyways i got mine compromise by using walgreens produck oxy 10 gel. You're right it doesn't happen over night but it sure dried up the spot and after 3 days it resolve the problem. All i have fix is the scarring it will fades out over time. Basically i use face wash that have salicylic acid, spot treatment and clear oil free moisturizer so i'm now happier :)

So it's pretty dependent on that. Women can have terrible acne, just as a guy could. You just must not know many who do. You can't really make a generalization with gender. @DivineIkari Each acne represent the inflammation and pus within one hair follicle. If you squeeze your acne or accidentally burst it, you can leave a big scar. I would definitely recommend you to try ZapZit spot treatment on the acne so they dry out first. And they will shrink down to a smaller size, so even if you accidentally break the acne, it won't be as bad.

I use clindamycin phosphate gel which I got from my doctor and it works really well. I've had no side effects at all from it. I don't have severe acne but this product really helped tone and clear my skin. The texture of my skin is better too. It was like a miracle. I've also learned that you don't have to go to a dermatologist to get acne medication. I asked my regular doctor and she prescribe me something. But like I said I don't have severe acne so I don't know if this will work for everyone

@southcoastmedspa I learnt a little magic trick from when I had severed medical acne... Stop popping picking or touching them and make sure you keep your skin hydrated and clean... the end, a month or two later, a few scars left, no more acne... Boo hoo, it's not a medical disaster to have acne

What a load of rubbish. Doctors, actually dermatologists are the worst kind of doctor out there, there is so much money to be made out of peoples suffering that they will never tell you the truth. The only way to cure acne is naturally. The food you are eating is toxic and it has clogged up your gut and is then released through your face. Good one! I still have acne, but not as severe as I did in senior school (from 2002-2007), and people used to laugh at me because of my spots. Having had acne for many years I found out this to help me with acne : 1 ) NO cleansers made "for oily skin", these only result in oilier skin !! 2) NO moisturizers/fatty creams on the acne zones ! 3 ) I take cink pills, that helps the healing. 4 ) A toner with little desinfective effect is good.. 5) Medical creams prescribed by a doctor might be helpful for you. 6) Try not to mess with the pimples, it might cause painful infections and repeated re-occurrence of that pimple.

i love trying natural skincare treatments, especially stuff i can find in my kitchen. honey is amazing! i meant to add that i also make my own exfoliating scrub. so if you are actually reading the description, you're in luck! here's the recipe: 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. ground oats (i pulse for a few seconds in a blender) 1-2 tbsp. honey 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. olive oil

This is how i do it ;] If you have acne or scars...use 2 spoons of Quaker..half a spoon of honey and 5 drops of lemon every day in a small cup..mix it with a little bit of water and after its all mixed out good put it in your face it would make a mask..have it on for 30-40 minutes as i do and then wash it off...ITS ALL NATURAL -Tell other people who want to clear their acne and scars..so they wont waste money on products that won't work.!
