@ABdadaSURD I ended up here by following a trail. It started with meth abuse, dopamine and the effects on the brain. I then came here and heard what was being said. All I have done is provided a truth and if what I have said is not for you then ignore it. What's the problem? Did he just create us because he was bored? that hardly seems like we are of any significance...If we go to heaven what meaning does going to heaven really have? Once you're in heaven there is no greater good, or no further purpose and you have to sit there for an eternity....To tell you the truth no religion is less depressing than religion.

There is no such thing as depression. It's a label that the world puts on tribulation and anguish. Read Romans 2:9,10. I suffered from tribulation and anguish until 10:30am on 17th July1999. Once my sin was forgiven the tribulation and anguish ceased. You may not like this, but I am telling you the truth and my life is a confirmation of that truth. @vicctooriaa I agree with, especially for the "fear of no understanding" part. Music saved me too, it looked like the only shelter I had.....It must be said though that there's need of a deep act of will...things don't change by themselves, we actually have to act, and I think this is the most difficult part...i tell this from direct experience

However when you have done nothing to any person and you end up on the wrong side of situations it makes you wonder what your path in life is and how to overcome problems for example I was working at a place selling and a co-worker assaulted me he was never fired he assaulted another co-worker and was never fired so I quit. This is only one situation I never did anything to this joke of a human being.

I used to be depressed. It was hard because I couldn't tell anyone and felt like nobody could understand. I was on the brink of killing myself but music saved me. The Killers and Hedley had songs that I found I could really relate to. Hedley pretty much saved my life. Now I couldn't be happier that I didn't go through with killing myself. Depression's scary. But all the pain that people go through when depressed is worth the final result of being happy, trust me.

@danielmokey I am like you I dont believe in god what has he done for me. Everything seems to be against me in life and it makes me so angry inside. I tried medication but it didnt work for me, everyday is like a struggle I am all over the place angry sad rarely happy. If there was a god why wouldnt he give me a break from this nonsense

I've delt with depression for years without even knowing it was depression. Now, It's gotten so bad, I can't cope with the simplesy of things. I used to eat allot being depressed but now I hardly touch my food and just doing the dishes is a task. My mind is in a state of nothingness. I can't sleep or I sleep way too long, and I get moody over the strangest things. It struck again after being happy for months and even when I was happy, I was dying inside. I could barely type this comment.

@thetacticalchicken00 im no doctor but from all I know about depression, I believe drugs is just a quick/easy way out of it, but the power of the mind can also be a very powerful thing. I only vaguely remember what happiness is and what it feels like but im trying really hard to find that and capture it. And I think I'm coming closer to it. Exercising and eating healthy recently has helped alot
