@Cookies1304 I assumed that it was an M9 since they're regular infantry. Nonetheless Brain fired over 16 shots so even if it was a M1911, he would've fired 2 magazines worth of ammunition. M1911's can hold more than 7 rounds in all depends on the magazine that's in the pistol; I've fired one with 9 and Springfield Armory has a model that holds 14 rounds

These were a fantastic band and totally unique. I saw them many times, the last time was in 1973 at the Cardiff Capitol on their farewell tour. It was an absolutely brilliant performance and I remember coming away from it feeling very sad. They never failed to entertain. We shall never see the likes of them again.
