@sagigirl1214 4) Simply say that you are intersted and if he is qualified to perform the treatment on you. He might have to file in between teeth to make room for the movement when it happens. If not, then he has to send you to someone who IS qualified. 5) I have Blue Cross and it did not cover the $5000.00 to get it done. Please check with your parents' insurance to see if their ins. covers it. 5) Same as #2. Good luck!

@sagigirl1214 I hope I can help since I had these for 9 months. 1) You must go to a qualified dentist with Invisilgn training and high tech equipment in his/her office. He must determine if you are abe to get them. A special mold will need to be taken of your teeth plus special x-rays and sent to the Invisilgn laboratory for them to creat you sets of braces. And yes...I mean sets. 2) Dentist's call 3) Do your research and show then the official web site and discuss it with them.

Can anyone tell me if it is normal that one of my aligners doesn't fit in my teeth.... I mean, when a put it on(down aligner - attachments are on both canine tooth), i can move it very easily with my tonge.. Just on the right side(The left side is fine), So, the aligner doesn't hold my last three teeth very well.. I think the aligner, on that side, is a little bigger for my last three teeth....

@sagigirl1214 I can answer these. 1. Go to your dentist and ask if you need braces. He'll refer you to an orthodontist. Make sure the orthodontist has invisalign. Then there's a 3 step process. Impressions of your teeth, review of treatment, and delivery of first set of aligners. 2. You can be any age. 3. Research invisalign and show the pros/cons to parents 4. You just do 5. Some insurance companies cover it. 6. Your invisalign provider will examine teeth to see if you are a candidate.

@mayaborkowicz well after they chart your teeth the dentist wil send the scans to invisalign. Then you get your plan back and that shows how your teeth are supposed to move. Then if your doctor gives the "okay" they will take about 2-3 weeks (from my experience). :)

What happens when you've finished all of the sets? Do you have to wear a retainer for the rest of your life so that the teeth do not move back? Mine will require significant moving and also dental implants in possibly 2 upper front and 2 bottom front locations...

@SabrinaKat1 No one can tell you the exact cost because it varies, from city to city, it ranges from $3000.00 to $5000.00. And as for an underbite I am not sure about that most orthodontists do a free consultation, BUT in order to find out if invisalign will work they have to take molds of your teeth and have invisalign make the clincheck video, and for my molds it cost 300.00, i get mine on the 30th.

Its a great process! Everything on this video is correct. I have Invisalign and its been wonderful. But its all on you, you have to be serious about wearing these. I like them because I can floss. New trays I place at night and little discomfort for about an hour. Its a great cost effective process. In USA cost can vary the average cost is 5,000, same cost as braces. Your teeth move fast every 4 weeks put in a new tray moves your teeth. Depends on your teeth how fast it will take. I like them!

In austria we get something, that looks exactly like invisigline (maybe it is invisgline, don't know) AFTER we had normal braces for 1-3 years. and than we get this thing, that the teeth doesn't change back into their old postion. so it is something to fix and not to change the teeth position. that's only f***ing commercial for these guys who can't get normal braces because they are to expensive.

These actually work if you use them like your suppose to like doesnt take them of or play with them. My teeth where horrible I mean horrible and they straitened my teeth in like 1 year they do work I suggest getting them they hurt way less then regular braces. And yes anyone can get!!!!

Invisalign was a terrible disappointment for me. It could only fix my teeth only so much and that was it. I'm so disappointed! The doctor had to put on BRACES to finish the job and he charged me extra for it. My friends have also had similar experiences where their teeth would not get straight. If I had to do it over again I would have gone for the tooth-colored braces!

Look at 1:17. The upper right lateral incisor is tipped inward toward the gumline. And this is one of their best examples. I have talked to a number of people who had a bad experience with Invisalign. It is not the same thing as braces. In 10 years, a lot of people with Invisalign will be getting braces because their bite was not fixed and therefore the teeth did not stay straight with Invisalign. Invisalign has only been around 10 years. There are definite limitations in what it can do.

Mine took about 3 weeks to receive. If your Orthodontist is good, you'll only need to have one impression taken. After it's sent to Invisalign, they'll make the entire set of trays for your treatment. Your Orthodontist will issue them to you as the treatment progresses, typically a new tray every 2 weeks.

So neat. I had the damon bracket system, but my front teeth began shifting about a year and a half later (it developed a small gap). I forgot I had my clear-retainer that looks like an invisalign thing, and wow it hurts right now just like I have braces again, but much easier.

Your teeth are really not bad to begin with. I'm in a similar position. I love mine except for bottom middle 4 which are slightly crowded and I have a dominant eye tooth in upper which annoys the hell out of me. So I'm getting mine next weekend and will have them off by December :) Can't wait!

Why are people so rude and nasty?(because they are insecure and jealous of course). I wear Invisalign because they work, and if you have the CHOICE to wear invisible braces, what on earth is wrong with that? You are supposed to remove them for eating anyway! This poor girl has only had them on for one day, and they do take a lot of getting used to. Good for her, and anyone else getting their teeth straightened at an older age. I am 52 and at the end of my 2 years treatment in England.

I started with my invisalign treatment a few days ago,... can anyone tell me if it is normal that one of my aligner doesn't fit in my teeth.... I mean, when a put it on(down aligner - attachments are on both canine tooth), i can move it very easily with my tonge.. Just on the right side(The left side is fine,,, it is a little bit difficult to take it off). So, the aligner doesn't hold it well from the tooth next to my right canine tooth to my last tooth.

i have the clear bracket braces idk y ppl are so concerned with how they are going to look with braces your teeth are already crooked!! invisilign is only good for ppl who have a very small subtle hint of crookedness in their teeth, at least when u have braces ppl know your on the path of fixing your teeth, thats why i got mine and i feel fine, i got adjusted rather quickly and recommend it to anyone.

U should take pictures every month to see the difference i really want to get invisalign i don't want braces, its weird because i only have one tooth on my top teeth that is sticking back and the rest are straight so it looks weird, and i want to straigten it so that it will match the other ones i guess i just have to go through the pain lol, like they always say beauty takes pain lol, good luck with your invisalign!

I am almost to the end of my 2nd trays...seems like the main problem I have is toward the ends of the trays and they start rubbing against my gums on top. I guess that is because my teeth move and ready for the next trays.

my dad really wants invisalign cuz his complex was always his teeth.. xD he made my brother and i get braces even tho we didnt want them..cuz he didnt want us to have crooked teeth like him. invisalign really looks like the clear retainers we have after braces though! ill show him this video and give him hope! lol thanks for the video ^^

invisalign isnt necessarily painful, its more uncomfortable during your first tray. After that its quite easy and routine because you go through changing trays every 2weeks. for me the first 3 days are uncomfortable, after that its easy, i have the attatchments and I pop them in and out easily. im on my 9th tray now out of 31

I want invisalign so badly but the doctors won't let me have them because my teeth are so severely overcrowded :( I would give up smoking, sweets and everything for these things!! *sigh* Your soooo lucky!
