I had this done today. They numb your gum and mouth so much during the operation that you barely feel a pinch; and I even had to get stiches because they had to cut up my gum open to remove a barely visible wisdom tooth. Its the rest of the day after the operation where it hurts like hell and you'll be bleeding for the rest of the day. In fact my gum is sitll bleeding right now.

I just got local to numb ur mouth they put 3 injections in me on each side (had two removed) also I had my ipod with dubstep turned right up, so hardly heard anything. Whole thing took maybe 10 mins. You feel some pressure but its normal as hes trying to take it out. Just look up at the light and keep thinking 'im invincible'. I dont honestly think u need sedation. I did take some GABA before tho which calms ur mind.

@therockstar719 Im getting mine out friday. they;ll give you an IV sedation And put you to sleep if thats what you want done.I believe its the easiset way since ive had multiple surgeries done when i was asleep. also it doesnt hurt the iv needle goes in and its like not even a centimeter thic and they pullit out and a piece of plastic stays in to keep it there truthfully its only gonna hurt the day after say take 2 advil a day and donts eat any nuts or it will tear the stiches. eat pudding.

@therockstar719 well if you get the IV sedation (costs like 600 dollars) you don't feel anything cause you're out for good and you definitely feel the pain later (you'll always feel it). Me, i did the nitrous/pills/laughing gas because i wanted the drugged up feeling :P and you're awake and you can hear and barely feel anything, but you listen to music while it's happening and i was aware that the teeth were being pulled, but i didn't know they were. i was in a loop of weird videos instead :P

@christoph2005 The extraction doesn't hurt a bit. In my country you're not put to sleep but you are given some very powerfull anesthisia for that part of the mouth. In my case the doctor had to extract the tooth by doing an incision (I'm 17 and they haven't grown up yet). It was kind of funny seeing the doctor struggling to take out that thing with such big pressure. At the end I heard something cracking and that was all.The real bad part is the post-intervention period (especially for my case).

My teeth are not sensitive but my head is...sounds Weird? yeah! I feel a bit dizzy if I wear the mouth-tray for a bit long, let's say above 20 mins. I only apply it to my upper teeth yet, will go for the lower in 1 week. I tried to brush my teeth with tooth paste b4 applying, I think it make my gums more sensitive.
