If you live in the UK with a toothache then the thing to get is a product called Orajel there are two types you want the one that is only available behind the counter (yellow box with red end not the blue ended weaker one). I know Tesco's do it. One squirt of this on your gum and bingo you have out of pain within 5 seconds (your mouth goes numb for about 30 min) but then the pain stays away for 24 hours ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's says don't take for longer than 4 days but I have.)

it worked for me too rly thanks i can finely think clearly again. and for another remedy, but you probably wont have it right at home: real bio salt not refined in any way, but as much as you can handle into a half cup of warm water the warmer the better and gurgle with it as long as you can, this will also help when you have serious tooth problems and it draws everything out of the toothflesh too so it will hold for a while.

Thanks.... I had a toothache and Oragel, Advil didn't work I was up until 3AM and they I saw this. I got the chopped garlic out of the frig and tried it with a slice of onion. Tasted terrable, burned but after ten minutes the toothache went away. It is a quick fix until I can get to the dentest.

Luv you for this! I have chronic toothache problems, will try this next time. I have lots of "solutions" but none work for long. But for those who need to get control of pain long enough to go purchase garlic, I'll say: Ice bag, rinse mouth with salt water, apply liquid oral analgesic first, then apply gel oral analgesic after. Ibuprofen works; percocet works better, but requires a prescription.

Hey its pretty simple put some garlic in your mouth bare with it for about 20 sec then wash out and take some Tylenol to be on the safe side. I even used garlic powder and it worked for me.

i gotta get 2 teeth pulled but my pressure was to high for 2 teeth so i have to come back when its lower ..they gave me some pills to bring it down but the dentist cleaned all the food an crap that was traped inbetween the bad teeth to ease the pain until i come back and it works i slept like a baby but the problem is still there cant wait to get back an let them operate

I have a tooth ache right now ON THANKSGIVING! While my whole family is at my mother's house having a wonderful dinner, I'm home alone sufferring like a son-of-a-bitch! If I could rip my tooth out as easily as he just did in this movie I would've done this already. Great film. One of the best acting performances ever by Nolte. Everyone else in the film is fabulous too. My favorite line of the movie is at the beginning "Wade" takes his daughter to the Halloween party at the local high school in New Hampshire. He's divorced from her mother but the little girl grew up in the town. She is sulking because she didn't want to fulfill "visitation" with her father. He's talking to her "I thought you'd like the party. Kind of pitiful but they tried."

So which is better to brush teeth with: Antibacterial bar soap or Fluoride Toothpaste? Cuz 2months ago i was having BAD toothaches. My dentist gave me fluoride toothpaste but i didnt use it. Instead i brushed with antibacterial soap and it took a while but eventually my toothaches lessened. Now my teeth are starting to ache again. Why? I think its cause I skipped the soap for the fluoride toothpaste in the last few days. hey cant we buy and injected our gums with the numbing stuff dentists use?

ok i dont know about this stuff but i used this stuff called red cross it kills any nerve i swear this stuff works you can get it at any pharmacy or walmart i have a tooth that lost its filling and the nerve was exposed and was sending a shocking pain that felt like it was going through my whole body just a warning it taste horrible thats why i suggest only getting it on the problem area and it wont be so bad ohh and you can get temp filling but it should work with any toothache its 7 bucks

I'm having it quite bad at the moment. Both my lower wisdom teeth are growing the wrong way and have to be extracted, only I have to wait for the hospital to contact me. In the meantime, I can't even go to the normal dentist because I'm hypersensitive, so numbing injections don't work on me (and the pain is 10 times stronger). I've just been avoiding foods that are too cold or hot and I've also been holding a hot water bottle to my face (because it sometimes seems to ease the pain). =o[

It hardens and, if placed correctly, stays there for quite a while. But before you fill your cavity, try and make sure that it's cleaned out, otherwise you may get a nasty infection. Use Listerine, as that kills a lot of bacteria as it cleans. Good luck, those of you suffering. Lord, I know your pain.

Ha...nice vid. U just described my last 2 days. No sleep for 2 nights in a row walking aroung with ice water swishing it every 30 seconds. I went totally insane. I did this for a horrible toothache and fever yesterday. IT WORKED! I thought I'd need antibiotics, or even a root canal. I'd had it for 2 days. I still can't believe it's gone, but it is. I don't know why people don't use the Sore Spot, with the Set up. I think that's very important, don't skip it.
